Hello to everyone at GGI! Sorry it has taken me so long to post another blog up. Things have been very busy out here in DC lately!
My training is moving along very well! I can’t believe how quickly it has blown by. In just a little over month from now I will be lining up with 40,000+ runners for the Chicago Marathon. As the marathon approaches, my excitement level keeps getting higher and higher.
To all GGI schools…most of you are back in session which means only one thing, your program is now in full swing! I hope that you all go above and beyond all the goals you set out to do this fall! Each day you are making a difference for all of us! Keep it up!! I also want to wish all the Chicagoland GGI schools a special good luck. I can’t wait to come out to Chicago and maybe I’ll see some of you at the marathon!
Ever since I knew that I was going to be running for the GGI, I been doing my best to be more eco-conscious. I’ve slowly started to notice how I pick through all my actions to figure out way to be more eco-friendly. I now see how these little things I’m doing are starting to add up as time progresses. I can only imagine how quickly a change is noticed when you have a whole school doing it, or I guess I should say, the whole country! I can’t wait to see the figures of how much the GGI has saved the environment this year!!!
