I hope you are having a great Earth Day!
Here's what I'm doing to celebrate...I'm treating Earth Day like a Birthday!
You know how you feeel on your birthday, how you hope your friends and family will do something nice for you, take it easy on you? Well, that's how I'm treating the Earth today...like it's the Earth's birthday. I'm using less water, less energy, and doing my best not to throw anything in the garbage that will end up in a landfill. I'm doing little things to give the Earth a little break today.
I'd love to hear how you celebrated Earth Day! Tell me all about it!
Greenly yours,
Jill Buck

We have stepped up efforts to recycle at the schools by including a "flyer" in the eFolders that are posted at the school. HOWEVER, I would LOVE to post a flyer that uses Go Green Initiative logos and messages in a flyer. Are there any templates??? Thanks, Debbie Simmons Brushy Creek Elementary and Round Rock Christian Academy contact, Round Rock, Texas

Hi, Debbie! That is exciting news! I will send the logo to your email address right now, and if you sign up for our list serve, you will get newsletters from us with information you can share with anyone you like! But even more frequently than the newsletters, I'm blogging and using Facebook and twitter to get information out. If you look at the top of this page, you will see several social media icons that we are using to give people information in the way they like it best. Feel free to share anything you find that would appeal to your school!

Hello Jill,
I am currently co-chairing the K-12 Committee of the Cobb Education Consortium(CEC) in Cobb County Georgia. We are currently in the process of creating a wiki titled CECGreenUmbrella.
This site will provide our 3R's(Recommendations, Research, and Resources) for anyone looking into going green in schools. We would like to thank you for providing such an excellent resource and appreciate any information or links that you may provide in the future.
